In 2010 we decided that we needed to see more of the world and give our kids an adventure of a lifetime in the process.
We are a family of 4; Pam, Niels, Max & Zack.
Our story
With a baby each on our arm, while on vacation in St Croix, we met a familie that lived on a boat. A seed of inspiration was sown and before the vacation was over we agreed that we could totally live on a boat. That was 2010 almost 8 years later in 2017 we were “ready” and set out to explore. All though it seemed like a long time back then, the past years have been filled with lots of work discovering the world of sailing, finding a boat, learning how to fix an old boat and sorting out the details of how to leave the daily grind on land behind to seek out an ever changing life style on the water. Back when we decided to go for it we were clueless. We know a lot more now but still feel quite clueless, seems like the only time you know for sure what to do is when you have done it. Yet we have never been more excited than we are now as we experience new amazing places and make new friends as we sail SV Saga.
